How quickly three months flew by! It's time to check-in on everyone and see how we're all doing with those new quarter resolutions we made in January. Remember? Go find that list of promises you made to yourself. Go 'head. I'll wait....

this beach interlude brought to you by K and D and Pismo Beach.
Okay. Everyone got them? let's review...I'll go first if you want me to. These were my main three NQR's: be more disciplined in my writing, write stuff down, and do not stop learning. How am I doing? here we go!
Be more disciplined. I have managed to write at least three examiner articles per month so far. I could/should be doing better. I have at least been following a plan of attack - writing a series of articles: Wine A - Z - An alphabetical journey through wine. I just wrote my "F" article today. According to my self-imposed schedule, I should have written "G," so I am a week behind! To compound that problem, I wrote about French wine, and realized about half way through my article that French wine really needed to be a two-part series!
Writing this blog with any sense of a schedule has not even come close to happening.
You all are supposed to be holding me accountable for that!
Write it down! Done that! Leaving random notes all over the place. Now if I could only remember where I put them....
Do NOT stop learning. Managing to do this with amazing ease and regularity. I am studying to become a "Certified Specialist of Wine." My study group gets together every Tuesday to study and discuss. it is so much easier to do this with someone holding me accountable for things, and it's going quite well. Later this year, I will also be taking some on-line photography courses, but one thing at a time! In the course of my everyday life, I also find myself picking up little informational tidbits from a variety of sources, which shows me that the learning process is on-going all the time! We just have to recognize when we've gained new knowledge!
So? How are you doing? Let's all check in again at the half way point - end of June/beginning of July - and see if there's any improvement, or if we need to start all over again! I may have a resolution or three to add, as my life will be going through some major changes by that time.
Stay strong, my friends, and stay on track! Time to hit the treadmill now for my 20 minutes!
